After news broke that Rapper Kid X left Cashtime Life, social media went straight for record label owner Ntokozo “K.O” Mdludlu.
An assortment of accusations were thrown at him, with some accusing him of mistreating his artists, being selfish and only wanting to have everything to himself.
Others went as far as saying he’s the reason why Nomuzi Mabena left to start her own record company.
K.O’s credibility was first questioned when he decided to release his single Papa Action a week after record label partner MaE released his album, Township Counselor.
The departure of Kid X has also left many tongues wagging, but the rapper has spoken out about life after Cashtime.
In an interview with Red Bull studios, Kid X said he is busy talking business and strategizing his next move with manager Kash. “I’m doing what I always do, man. I keep my head down and I stay grindin,” said Kid X.
When asked who his favourite rappers were, he mentioned Nasty C and Emtee, and none from his former record company Cashtime Life.
