In an attempt to up his chances of winning at the Metro FM Music Awards, Mafokate early in February promised a cow to the person who cast the most votes for his 999 Music record label

999 Music was nominated in the Best Compilation Album category, for Summer Ya Di Summer, and was announced the winner at the ceremony in Durban on Saturday.
Following 999 Music's win, the Daily Sun gave Arthur a call for news about the lucky winner of his promised cow.
According to the paper, Arthur explained that he needs fans who cast their many votes in an effort to win the cow, to step forward.
"A promise is a promise. This is not something I take lightly. We know people want their cow. We just need people to post us proof that they voted and then my team will verify who had the most entries," the Kwaito King told the Daily Sun.

Arthur explained that the winner will receive their prize in a special ceremony in Jozi sometime this month

"We will set a date to bring the winner to Jo'burg for an official hand-over and celebratory party next month," he added.
"We will also invite the media to see that we have fulfilled our promise."
Aside from his compilation album victory over the weekend, Metro FM this year also chose Arthur as the recipient of their Lifetime Achievement Award.
