You’d think twitter wars are for twelebs but no, even grown men in higher places sometimes find themselves in twitter wars. Fikile Mbalula lived up to his Minister of twitter status when he got into it with Sports Anchor Robert Marawa. Robert Marawa and Fikile Mbalula in heated twitter war.
It all started after Robert voiced his opinion on Fikile Mbalula saying Durban could loose the 2022 Commonwealth Games due to cost challenges. This we knew when they were busy acting like Tarzan!!,” Robert tweeted. This obviously didn’t sit well with Mbalula who replied saying Robert’s gripe was he never believed in [us] hosting the Commonwealth games.
It all turned south real quick when Robert revealed the real gripe was Mbalula trying to get him fired from Metro FM. “I have no “gripe” FYI.I have a different opinion. Different to u trying to get me fired from MetroFM, that’s a gripe,” Marawa fought back.
