Big Zulu has suggested that he is not happy with the Song of the Year results on Ukhozi FM. The rapper had one of the most popular songs in the festive season.
Big Zulu's Imali Eningi

His track titled Imali Eningi was one of the songs on the popular radio station's Top 10 tracks that were competing for the Song of the Year spot which was voted for by the public.

Unfortunately Nkabi's track wasn't the winner. Khuzani's Maskandi song titled Ijele took the number one spot after receiving 957 950 votes.

Big Zulu took to Twitter on 2 December to react to a post by a politician who was complaining that Imali Eningi didn't win.

Vusi Khoza shared that Imali Eningi deserved to be the Song of the Year on Ukhozi FM after KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala congratulated Khuzani.

The artist reacted to Khoza's post with a pensive face emoji which conveys a variety of sad emotions including feeling disappointed.

Other tweeps also shared their thoughts on Big Zulu's reaction to the politician's post about Ukhozi FM's Song of the Year. Check out some of their comments below:

@LMakhetloane said: "Maybe you should have used a lot of guitar and made it sound more like Maskandi and called it hip-skandi (hip hop + Maskandi). Maskandi fans want more than just Brentwood, you need to back it up with a guitar. Maybe they would have voted for you."
