Important JEE Main Dates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently released the admit cards for JEE Mains, which will be held in January. Earlier on October 19th, information about the centers for the exam and the date and shift times for registered students of JEE Mains 2019 was released. Candidates can access this information by logging into the application portal for JEE Mains and using the allotted application number.

The exam for JEE paper I will be held online, and for JEE paper II it will be held partially online and partially in a written exam. Students are suggested to keep referring to the application portal to take advantage of all critical dates. We will give regular updates as they come along on our site.

JEE Main 2019 January

Registration

The online forms for JEE mains 2019 January were available on September 1st, 2018. Registrations for the same closed down on September 30th, 2018.

Fee Payment, Uploading Photograph and Signature

The last date for the fee payment and uploading of the student photograph and signature was October 1st, 2018.

Form Correction Date

The period for correcting the online application form was from October 8th toto October 14th.




Announcement for Venue, Date, and Shift (Paper I and II)

The information about the date and shift for exams I and II of JEE main was released on October 5th. The Venues for the exam centers were released a bit later, on October 19th.

JEE Main Admit Cards

The admit cards for JEE Main 2019 were released on December 17th, 2018.


JEE Main Dates (Computer Based)

  • The JEE Main Paper I online exam will be held on the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th of January 2019.
  • The JEE MPaperaper II, the writtenexam, will be held on January 8th, 2019. 
The dates for the JEE primary answer key will be released soon after the entrance exams are over for students to review and make a calculated guess about their results.

JEE Main Result

  • The results for JEE Main 2019 will be released on January 31st, 2019. 
The National Testing Agency (NTA) held JEE Mains twice in a single academic year. The computer-based exams are held in eight slots. This year, they are to be held in January and April. Each slot can accommodate around 2 lakh students, give or take. The JEE paper II consists of an online exam for Mathematics and Aptitude. A separate written exam is conducted for the subject drawing.

The syllabus for the exam, the paper pattern, exam fees, and the language the exam is in will remain the same. This is done so candidates have better opportunities and a second chance to crack the JEEs. If a candidate chooses to appear twice for the exams, his highest score out of both will be considered.

JEE Main 2019 April

Registration

The online registration for JEE Main 2019 April will start on February 8th. Candidates who plan to apply are suggested to get their documents in order and finish the registration as early as possible. The last date of submission of the f online application form for JEE Main 201 is April March 7th, 2019.

Fee Payment, Uploading Photograph and Signature

The date for Fee Payment, Uploading Photograph, and Signature of the candidate will be announced later.

Application Correction

The date for correction and rectification in the online application form will be announced later.

Admit Card

The tentative date for the release of the Admit Card has been set to March 18th, 2019. Of course, remember to collect yours!

JEE Main Dates

  • The online computer-based exam for JEE Mains April I will be held between April 6th and April 20th. 
The answer key will be released soon after April 21st and before the declaration of results. The answer key will give the students a good idea about what scores they'll get and their chances of getting into a high-level college.

JEE Main 2019 April Results

The 2019 April JEE Mains results date has been set to April 30th,, 2019. This is the day the candidates will come to know their scores and, how well they performed in both exams. The results will decide the course of their career, i.e., which college they will get admitted into.

All India Ranks

The All India Rank for each candidate will be released sometime during May. Specifically, it will tell the candidates their placements about all other students who appeared for the exams. For, e.g., a student with AIR 264 means ranked 264 in India among all the lakhs of students who appeared.
