Online admissions for 2018 will open on Tuesday, 02 May 2017 and close on 12 May 2017.

The Head of Department (HOD) at the Gauteng Department of Education, Edward Mosweu said that once it’s all systems go, parents must apply online at Schools, District offices, Teacher Centres or other identified sites for learner admissions.

Upon successful submission of the Admission Application Form online, parents will be provided with a Waiting List Number in writing.
The Department has put plans in place to avoid some of the challenges experienced by frustrated parents last year when online admissions were first introduced.

Challenges included problems with logging in, servers which were down and other technical problems.
The system was introduced in 2017 to encourage parents to register their children using a convenient online method and to avoid long queues at schools
