Masasa Mbangeni has landed a cool new role in the upcoming etv drama series Harvest.
The talented actress, best known for her previous work on etv soapie drama Scandal as Thembeka Shezi, will play the role of Celia Mahlamvu Jele, the feisty leader of the widows. Celia has had to cross so many lines for her family – she has bribed cops, slept with criminals and even travelled vast distances while heavily pregnant.
Masasa joins a star-studded cast that also features Muzi Mthabela, Mutodi Neshehe, Simphiwe Mini, Nat Ramabulana, Kagiso Modupe, Petronella Tshuma, Anathi Seyisi, Lutho John, Oros Mampofu, Rami Chuene, Fezile Makhanya, Thenjiwe Moseley, Lebohang Motaung, Batsile Ramasodi and Junior Singo.
