Sunday World broke the story last week alleging that Brendon Naidoo was being accused of conning millions of Rands out of people.
This week the businessman broke his silence insisting that he did not do anything unlawful, he said, "this thing is ugly, there's unsubstantiated evidence. I come from a good clean past. I am not scared."
According to Drum magazine, the businessman has been arrested and is being detained at the Sandton police station.
Speaking to Constable Mathapo of Sandton police station, Drum magazine confirmed that Brendon has been arrested and will not be released on bail.
Yikes, this story is getting messy.
