Ontlametse Phalatse had one of the wishes her bucket-list fulfilled yesterday when she met President Jacob Zuma.
It was Ontlametse ‘s wish to meet the president before her 18th birthday, which is on 25 March.
Yesterday, she finally got the opportunity to visit the president at his Tshwane residence, Mahlamba Ndlopfu.
President Zuma surprised the elated teenager with a basket of flowers and a birthday cake which they cut together.
Ontlametse is one of two young South African girls living with Progeria, an extremely rare genetic disorder in which symptoms resembling aspects of aging are manifested at a very early age.
Ontlametse completed her matric at the end of 2016.
