Another Ford Kuga has caught fire, with the latest incident taking place on the N12 near the Voortrekker offramp in Alberton this morning.
According to a report by EWN, the driver noticed smoke coming from his engine while travelling to work, and decided to drive to the nearest Ford dealership.
Before he could get there, the smoke intensified and the engine caught alight. The driver was not reported as injured.
This follow several incidents involving Ford Kugas catching alight in South Africa.
Ford South Africa recently stated it was investigating possible engine fires in Kugas powered by its 1.6-litre EcoBoost engine.
