What Times When Men Enjoy Se.x Most And Why

It has always been a mystery why a large proportion of men prefer to have sex early in the morning, while women prefer to have it at night.
The mystery is now solved, as it has been shown that men feel at their sexiest when they wake up in the morning, while a woman wants to go back to sleep just at that time. Conversely, most women get freaky at night when the man is just ready to hit the bed and has no desire for sex. All he might want to do is to cuddle a bit and then snore off, leaving the woman to her fate.
However, everything boils down to hormones. According to the Daily Mirror, here are ‘8 clock-reasons’ why a man and a woman’s sex clock does not always tick in time.

5 AM

A man wakes up with his testosterone level at its peak. This is between 25-50 per cent higher than at any other time of the day. This is because the pituitary gland that helps in the production of the male sex hormone has been switched on in the night and levels have been steadily rising until dawn. Women’s bodies produce only a fraction of the amount of testosterone, the main sex drive hormone, that men produce, and it increases only slightly overnight compared to men. That is why men wake up with the desire to have sex, and why a lot of men wake up with erections two to three times a week.

6 AM

According to a new research, the longer and deeper a man sleeps determines his testosterone level. This explains why after a good night’s sleep, most men awake feeling like having sex.  Research in the Journal of the American Medical Association shows getting more than five hours’ sleep a night can raise male testoterone levels by an extra 15 per cent.

7 AM

According to a consultant gynecologist, Gabrielle Downey, of the Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust, male and female testosterone levels are at their highest at opposite ends of the day, which explains why they are out of sync. You recall that we said while a man’s level of sex hormones is at its highest when he wakes up, a woman’s are at their lowest. Downey, however, advised that it takes more than hormones to get a woman in the mood, so men need to make an active effort. A woman’s hormones are also affected by her monthly cycle.

8 AM

As the day goes by, the level of testosterone made by both sexes falls and rises every 90 minutes through the day, as part of the body’s in-built clock. It can also be affected by stress.

6 PM

As evening approaches, men’s levels of testosterone start to fall while women’s sex hormones gradually rise: a directly opposite reaction. Studies have shown that an after-work gym session can boost the libido of both genders.

7 PM

Music has a way of enhancing sex hormones. When unwinding after a stressful day, putting on music boosts testosterone levels “significantly” in women but can have the opposite effect in men, according to a Japanese study by Nara University. Researchers believe the reason is that music may make women feel more relaxed, bonded and in turn more sexual, while in men it calms their aggression and in turn reduces their levels of testosterone.

8 PM

If an important match is on TV, the results can also affect a man’s testosterone. According to a study of saliva tests by the University of Utah, for sports fans, watching a world cup game boosted hormone levels by about 20 per cent if their team won. After a loss in a big game, there was a 20 per cent drop in levels. By contrast, women are more likely to be affected by actually playing sport rather than watching it.

9 PM

At this time, a man’s testosterone level might have reached the day’s lowest point, while a woman’s is heading towards its peak. But sexual desire in women is not a simple story. Downey says the greatest factor influencing sex drive is body image. If a woman sees herself as unattractive, she is much less likely to want to have sex. This explains why many women worry about being fat, and allow the feeling of being fat to override the sex urge they might be experiencing deep within them.

10 PM

Even though men’s testosterone levels are now at their lowest, they are still more likely than women to want sex in the evening, as men’s levels are still running higher than women’s, says Downey. She adds that once they are making love, if a woman’s testosterone levels are peaking because of where she is during her cycle -around the 13th day -her orgasms are more intense and they will be felt all over the body.
