The Premier Soccer League has announced that the opening fixture of the 2016/17 Telkom Knockout last round of 16 will be played in seven days’ time on Wednesday night, 19 October 2016. 
The League also confirmed that tickets will be sold at TicketPro outlets countrywide
The opening TKO fixture, to be played in Cape Town, will see Cape Town City host Bloemfontein Celtic at Cape Town Stadium. Kick-off is at 19h30. On Friday 21 October, Highlands Park will make their Telkom Knockout debut against Chippa United at
Makhulong Stadium at 20h00. 
On Saturday, we will have three TKO fixtures.  Free State Stars will host Bidvest Wits at the Goble Park at 15h00. This is the second successive meeting between the two sides in the last round of 16. Last season, it was Free State Stars who emerged victorious. 
At 2015, SuperSport United will play Ajax Cape Town at Lucas Moripe Stadium. At the same time, Kaizer Chiefs will be against Maritzburg United at FNB Stadium. 
On Sunday, 2013 TKO champs Platinum Stars will travel to Polokwane to play TKO debutants Baroka FC at Peter Mokaba. Orlando Pirates will be at home to Lamontville Golden Arrows at Orlando Stadium. Both matches will kick-off at 15h00. 
The last fixture of the last round of 16 will be on Thursday, 27 October 2016 between Mamelodi Sundowns and Polokwane City at Lucas Moripe.
