DJ Cleo has long been an admirer of Mmatema and has spoken often of his desire to work with her.
And his wish came true when he released a brand new song, with none other than Mmatema on the vocals. Halala!
The song is called Choose To Be Happy and is available as a free download here.
Cleo helped write and produce a track for Mmatema during her time on Idols and after her loss to Karabo Mogane spoke of wanting to sign her to his music label.
Unfortunately, Mmatema wasn't able to sign for the hit producer at the time because of "contractual commitment with M-Net and Universal Music".
But, like a beat in one of his hit tracks, things quickly changed and Cleo took to Instagram a few months later to claim that Mmatema was no longer signed to Universal Music and was free to join and work with whomever she wanted.
Looks like all those evenings wishing on a star have paid off, hey Cleo?
