Tina Dlangwana and the first wife to Prosper Mkwaiwa, Tina Jaxa went into battle over who should inherit the late husband’s belongings.
After things fell apart, Tina Jaxa eventually inherited everything and Tina Dlangwana was left with nothing but a mourning heart.
“I was down and out emotionally, but because of my supportive family it was easy for me to get back up. I am back because God had a plan for me before I was born,” said Dlangwana.
Dlangwana is said to be releasing a new single in 2 weeks. ”I had started working on the music when Prosper was still alive. After my husband passed, I needed to find myself and the music will tell exactly that,” said Dlangwana.
She went on to say that her husband’s death left a scar that will never heal but she told herself that ‘Vuka uzi vuthulule sisi’ (wake up and dust off the past).
“I have a Diploma in Musical Theatre from Tswhane Univeristy of Technology (TUT) and BCom Marketing and Finance from the University of South Africa (UNISA); I am an educated artist. Music was never an over night thing for me,” she giggled.
In her coming album, Tina will be recording a song with Dj Tira
