This past Saturday, South African Breweries launched its latest innovation “Liberado” – a premium flavoured beer with tequila flavouring. Headlined by King Kotini: Riky Rick, Liberado’s launch saw invited guests being taken to a secret destination, which turned out to be the popular Newtown based night club Carfax.
With a sizzling hot line up that heightened the buzz of liberation for the evening, guests danced the night away till the early hours with DJ Kent, Thando Thabethe and Roger Goode on the decks. Also featured on the line up was DJ Clue, who produced Liberado’s popular anthem “Long Live The Free”.
Liberado’s vibrant guest list featured Vuzu’s Shane Eagle, Hip Hop artist Priddy Ugly, international dance phenomenon Tarryn Alberts, 5FM presenters: Tumi Voster, Linda Mbuso and Franky, songstress Lady X, new kid on the block Kasi Mlungu and Moochild made an appearance, also spotted was Miss SA finalist, Rambi Sechoaro to name but a few.
The theme of expression for the evening was shades of black and the star studded venue was draped with amazingly good looking angels that featured massive black wings, go-go dancers were swinging from the roof tops as angel wings floated like confetti on the dance floor. To complete the Latin American inspired launch experience, the evening also featured fire blowers and tricksters entertaining guests on entrance. Check out who we spotted:
