Second Modise congregant dies after R1.3m cash heist

This after a second member of the church's congregation died in hospital after being shot at during an armed robbery earlier this month in which R1.3-million worth of tithes was stolen.
Phillimon Moshima, who was among the church members travelling in two cars with the cash en route to a bank at OR Tambo International airport, died from his wounds last week.
Sunday World reported last week how 12 armed tsotsis in three cars robbed congregants of the cash in a dramatic incident that left one member of the church dead on the scene.
Mashudu Mulaudzi, who was shot and died on the scene of the robbery, was buried in Venda, Limpopo, last week.
