Renowned house DJ and producer, Mobi Dixon, has every reason to celebrate as his album Tribal Soul has gone platinum – something he says he didn’t expect.
“I found out that my album had gone platinum last week and I’m really thrilled about the news. I didn’t expect it, but I’m thankful to my fans for supporting my music, I’ll continue making great music for them,” he said.
He adds that he’s so encouraged by his latest achievement that he’s already finished a new album titled Live the Music, which will be available worldwide from next month.
Mobi’s passion for his work doesn’t allow him to date. “I don’t have much time  for love life, but what I can say is that when I have time I spent it with my family,” he told us.
There’s another milestone that the DJ is celebrating and that’s performing at the DRUMBeat Concert this month for the first time ever.
“It’s going to be my first time performing at DRUMBeat and I’m really excited about it,” he gushed.
To celebrate his latest accomplishment, he’ll be hosting a party at The Sands in Sandton Saturday evening.
