Media personality Lerato Kganyago says she has advice for women when it comes to body image. The star who was in the news not so long ago over what she called body shaming by a monthly magazine says young women should have an honest conversation with themselves about their bodies.
“If there’s one piece of advice I could give to young women, its to stand in front of a mirror and truly look at themselves. If you’re not comfortable in your skin, own it,” she says in an Grazia Magazine interview.
“All those negative opinions in your head? Erase them. You are beautiful inside and out, and this vessel is the only one you’ve got to get you through life – so you may as well embrace it and love it,” Lerato added.
Lerato went on to say that the most important thing is to not let anyone define who one is. “Just remember to not let anyone else define it but you,” says Lerato.
