The cold front that hit most parts of the Western Cape and Northern Cape yesterday will soon be over.
Senior weather forecaster at the South African Weather Service, Dipuo Tawana, says the areas that are still affected by the cold weather the most today are the North West, Free State, Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal.
She says even though the cold front is exiting the country, Mpumalanga, Gauteng and Limpopo will still be affected by the cold tomorrow.
“We expect a slight improvement from Wednesday,” she says. Tawana however says that temperatures are expected to drop again from Sunday in the Western Cape, as well as in Mpumalanga and Gauteng next Monday, due to another cold front that is expected.
