Generations The Legacy star Andisiwe Dweba, who plays Getty on the soapie says that her fame has come with some unwanted attention that she wasn’t prepared for.
Speaking to BONA magazine August issue Andisiwe opened up about some of her experiences with fame saying; “Back at home in Mount Frere, Eastern Cape, I went to supermarket with my cousins and a girl called out “uGetty”.
“The next thing I was surrounded by a large group of people. I almost fell down from the stampede,” she tells the magazine.
Andisiwe’s character was a call actor in the former Generations and now its one of the main characters with very interesting storylines.
Generations plays every weekday on SABC 1 at 8pm.
