Bongi Mlotshwa, who is famous for making some of our favourite celebrities look pretty, has quit her job as the head of the Generations: The Legacy's hair and make-up department.
The decision reportedly came after she could no longer handle working with one of the soapie's actresses, Thuli Phongolo.
An anonymous source told Drum magazine that it all started when Thuli didn't like how Bongi did her face. "Their relationship got so bad that eventually she refused to do her make-up anymore. It was an open secret that the two were sworn enemies."
When the actress was contacted, Thuli was reportedly shocked by the news, saying everything is "fine" at work. "I really don't know what you are talking about. This is hilarious."
However, Bongi, who is Mbali Mlotshwa's mother, confirmed the the feud to Drum: "Oh my God. I have been in the industry for years and I have never had someone despise or treat me the way that child treated me. I left because of it and moved on. I really could not take it anymore. I was skinny and sick from all the stress."
Bongi even claimed that Thuli threatened to get her fired. "I got to a point where I even feared Thuli. She would tell me how her father is close friends with Mfundi Vundla."
