Television presenter and actor Nimrod Nkosi has joined Mzansi Magic’s hit soapie Isibaya.
The host of Utatakho makes his return to acting as he joins the 5 star cast of the hit soapie in which he’ll be portraying role of the character Alfred Phakathi and he will be introduced to the shows viewers as of next month.
Alfred is the chairman of Memel Taxi Association, and along with Judas Ngwenya and Samson Ndlovu, they plan to conduct their business there.
“Without giving much about the role, I will work closely with the famous two families, the Ngwenyas and the Ndlovus” Nimrod He said.
The Isibaya producer Kutkwano Ditsele said “All I can say is that Nimrod is part of Isibaya. It is a small role and, since the whole story is developing, it is difficult to say if the role will be extended”.
Ditsele also said “Nkosi’s performance was excellent and had impressed the directors”.
Nimrod didn’t take all the praise for his performance and claimed that he could not have done it without the support he received from lead and supporting actors.
He was noted to have been said that he was excited to work with a team of talented individuals.
