COULD there be romance brewing between host Proverb and former Miss SA Liesl Laurie?
The rumour mill is already on overdrive after the two were seen holding hand in public and looking cosy.
Sunday World spotted the two shopping in Rosebank last week. They held hands and looked very happy. They have also been spotted at a number of charity events together.
Sources close to both Laurie and Proverb said the couple was still playing it safe and slow.
But Proverb said they were just friends.
I know her from Miss South Africa as a friend, just like all the other former Miss South Africas,” he said.
But when asked about their cosy Rosebank Mall showing, Proverb said I m free to go anywhere with anyone
Laurie s publicist Jarred Doyle neither confirmed nor denied his client was dating Proverb.
Liesl is focused on her work, and Proverb is just a friend in the industry, said Doyle.
The rapper, who hosts and produces the Miss South Africa pageant, recently divorced his wife Onalerona Thekiso.
