The People’s paper, Daily Sun published a story today reportedly showing a bus accident which killed 6 cows in Hluhluwe, KZN.
According to Daily Sun, the residents in the area saw the chance to get free meat, according to a cop who was at the scene at Hluhluwe’s main road, northern KZN.
He said the residents and motorists helped themselves to free meat as the owner of the cows did not show up.
People also took to social media to invite others to come and get some free meat.

Interestingly, they even got police confirmation from a Major Thulani Zwane!
“A case of reckless and negligent driving was opened for investigation and no arrest has been made,” said Zwane.
However, iMzansi can exclusively reveal that the accident did not happen in Hluhluwe on Monday as reported by Daily Sun. The accident happened on Saturday in our neighboring Zimbabwe. Even the bus itself has a Harare signage on it.
According to media in Zimbabwe, EIGHTEEN head of cattle were killed when a Tombs Motorways bus coming from Botswana ploughed into a herd of 24 cattle on approaching the 87 kilometre peg along the Harare Bulawayo road. The accident happened on Saturday between Chegutu and Half Way at Sangongore farm. The bus had eight passengers on board and no one was injured in the accident.
