The South African feature film ‘Modder en Bloed (Blood and Glory)‘ will be making its way to the local cinemas on Friday, April 01, 2016.
The movie is set against the background of the Anglo Boer War and tells the story of a group of brave Boers who are imprisoned on St Helena in the Atlantic Ocean.
There they suffer under the cruelty of the British Imperialist Colonel Swannell (Grant Swanby) – and when one of their own’s life is in danger, they make a dangerous wager to play the most important game of their lives.
The leading actors in the new film are Stian Bam, Altus Theart, Edwin van der Walt, Deon Lotz, Bok van Blerk, Albert Maritz, David Louw, Albert Pretorius and Jacques Bessenger with roles by the British actors Patrick Connolly, Josh Myers and Nick Cornwall.
The movie is expected to premiere Friday, April 01st at Cinemas country wide.
