15-year-old Luke Bannister won $250,000 (R3.8 million) after coming first in the recent World Drone Prix in Dubai.
According to The Verge, the race saw competitors fly their drones around a track using a camera mounted to the front which provided a first-person view.
The competition saw 150 teams taking part and over 2,000 spectators in attendance – with a total prize pool of $1 million up for grabs.
