Nomvula in 2015, received five nominations for the 2015 Metro FM Music Awards. The event will take place at the Durban ICC on 27 February.

The Kings of the Weekend, DJ Naves and Sphectacula, also scored themselves five nominations. 
The nominees announcement event, which was held in Bryanston, Johannesburg, was attended by some of the country's biggest artists, including Zahara and Cassper Nyovest. 
Metro FM DJ Phat Joe, who was the host, announced that Nathi's debut album,Bel'ekhaya, has gone five times platinum. Wow! What a year it has been for Nathi. 
If he wins all five awards, he could walk away with R500,000. Yes, each artist who wins an award will receive R100,000 cash.
