Mzansi Magic The Road has been cancelled on TV after 4 months

Mzansi Magic telenovelo The Road has been cancelled.

The show, which boasts a star-studded cast including Gail Mabalane, Sthandiwe Kgoroge, and Themba Ndaba, has been on TV for just four months. 

Bongiwe Potelwa, Mzansi Magic's publicity manager, confirmed the news to the Sunday Times.

Although the show has been struggling with low ratings, Potelwa denied that this led to the decision. "The story as it was written has come to an end." 

However, judging by the latest TV ratings (14-20 December), the show was in trouble! It's nowhere to be seen in the top ten...
