Ebony magazine has featured South African comedian and The Daily Show host Trevor Noah in its Power 100.

EBONY recognizes those who lead, inspire and demonstrate through their individual talents, the very best in Black America. This year, on December 2nd, the EBONY POWER 100 event will be held in Los Angeles, California. EBONY will gather to celebrate the 2015 honorees during an exciting and star-studded evening in Hollywood. The night will culminate with a special recognition of the 70th anniversary of EBONY magazine, which was founded in 1945.

The list honours people who are considered heroes of the black community.

“EBONY recognizes those who lead, inspire and demonstrate through their individual talents, the very best in Black America,” the magazine said on its website.

Trevor made the cut in “The Players” category, alongside celebrities like Drake, Janet Jackson, Viola Davis, and Regina King.

“This year, the comedian took one of the most highly coveted—and perhaps most daunting—jobs on television: replacing Jon Stewart as the host of Comedy Central’s flagship program. With Noah at the helm, The Daily Show has attracted new, younger viewers before it enters its 20th season, as the 31-year-old biracial South African brings a refreshing perspective to the network’s new night time twosome, along with fellow Power 100 honoree, Larry Wilmore,” the magazine said.

Looks like Trevor is having the best year of his life!
