In just a few week, attendees of the BET Experience Africa will get to know what makes flamboyant Minister of Sport and Recreation – and twitter celebrity – Fikile Mbalula tick.
Mbalulawas confirmed as the first speaker at the Genius Talk lifestyle festival happening in December. The charismatic minister will share insights into his career and life in a one-on-one discussion with radio and television personality Nikiwe Bikitsha.
“It is a great privilege to be invited to participate in BET’s “Genius Talks” initiative,” says Mbalula. “I am eagerly waiting to see what BET and Nikiwe Bikitsha have in store for me, and looking forward to using this brilliant new platform for promoting dialogue about sport, art, music and self-expression.”
Genius Talks offer a platform to black thought-leaders in their fields, from celebrities and athletes to politicians. Previous Genius Talks speakers include boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, legendary writer Nikki Giovanni, and the first female African American astronaut, Dr Mae Jemison.
