After 10 months of hard work, sweat, tears and 79 million votes, yes you read right, 79 million votes South Africa has chosen their season 11 winner Karabo Mogane.
The Idols SA winner won votes and hearts with his sultry voice and humble personality. For the entire week #TeamMmatemaand #TeamKarabo were up in arms as supporters of both contestants made sure that they selected their votes for their ultimate Idol.
A shocked Karabo tried to hold back the tears as his fellow contestants Lungisa and Siphelele picked him up in excitement.
Messages of congratulations streamed all over social media as Karabo sang his official singleDing Dong to thousands of his followers
The beautiful Mmatema was also embraced by the other contestants as well as DJ Cleo whom she worked with for her latest single.
One thing’s for sure, we haven’t seen the last of Mmatema nor Karabo whom we will be interviewing tomorrow morning.
The two finalists exited the show in grandeur, their rendition of Beyonce’s I was heregave us goose bumps, their performance together was as clean and crisp as their white outfits.
